About Us

Cleve under 14's are a group of boys of mixed abilities who enjoy playing rugby. The ethos of the team is about developing team spirit, fitness and life skills through a sport that they all enjoy.

We have a team of qualified coaches, all dads, most of whom have or are still playing, who now get their reward from helping the boys develop their potential from whatever skills they join the team with.

Safety being paramount another group of our parents have been trained as first aiders, and yet more parents help with admin and social activities.

Winning is important…..for the sense of achievement the team gets but it’s not the only objective of our team.
The team train on a Wednesday evening, and then we play matches on Sundays from September until the end of April.

As we said this team is about more than just winning at Rugby!
Socially we go on tours (most recently and memorably Cornwall, Weymouth and Exmouth). Sponsored bike rides to raise money for the team, Barbeques, ten pin bowling and general fun activities that an active bunch of 13/14yr olds might just enjoy!

All this makes our team and club one of the best in the South West, the UK and the World.
